Excellent work, all of you!

I am a Santa Clara grad myself (MBA, 1999), and very pleased at the showing you all made. Extremely impressive! And good for the world as well!

I'm also part of a collaborative website at Appropedia.org. I'd love to republish some of your design work at Appropedia. Check out the site and let me know what you think! We're growing rapidly and making an impact, with over a 1 million pages viewed in the last 6 months, and ramping up to double or triple that pace in the next 6 months.

Thanks, and congratulations on a job very well done!

My wife (Catherine Bueno de Lorimier, '87) and I (class of 86) now live in Maryland and whenever speaking of our college out here on The East Coast we have to remind folks where SCU is. We were particularly proud to tell our Maryland friends about this competition and to show off our school. Go Broncos!

Nate Hearn clued me in on the Solar Decathlon. I say, Fantastic. Have been looking at all the photos and following the competition. First off, what a great idea, at a time when we should really be pushing solar. Second, that Santa Clara U is right in there. Hat's off to all those that made it happen. I was born 50 years too soon!

Nice job fellas! The house and idea are great. You have definitely put a lot of hard work into your design and I think it serves the public well, regardless of if you guys take home 1st place or not. And congrats on being the lone West Coast representative!

Hi Santa Clara University

I love the way your team pulled together to implement these great innovations,I was only able to take a quick look at the site(heading to a wedding)-and was wondering if I missed anything, I didn't find an interior or exterior picture that gave me a good sense of the house.
No doubt of the integrity of the home,my famiy and friends are very impressed but will the public be able to see some pictures of systems involved online in the future? Thanks for your time and good going on the solar home.

I really admire what you all have been trying to do. I saw the video Ryan Hodson made two weeks ago talking with Meghan Mooney. Great stuff. I was wondering if you got some of your ideas from the Earthship projects, or if you came up with most of the engineering principals on your own.

Good luck,
Andrew

Its clear that you're getting every possible experience through this competition and meeting each one with good spirits.
